I spend my days writing SOAP notes, PILs, and competencies — switching between clinical precision and patient-friendly language. I realised I was already doing the writing; I just needed more time to show what I’m made of. So, I started health writing.
Not many people know what an Orthotist is. The word “ortho” comes from the Greek for “straight” , and the “-ist” ? Well, that basically means specialist. So, an Orthotist literally means a specialist in straightening the body. Still none the wiser? You’re not alone.
